Nice Little Coincidences Are Convenient

Every notice when something totally random happens and it either prevents something terrible from happening or causes something really great to happen? Nice, isn't it? Like today, I was going to back up out of my parking space at work, and for some dumb reason, I didn't look behind me before throwing the car into reverse. I hit the gas but it didn't go. I had just started turning my head to look behind me when I saw the car that was behind me, going for the spot on the other side of me. Had my car listened to me when I'd instructed it to back up, I would have smacked them, and it would have been a pretty dumb move on my part.
